CSCS Health, Safety and Environmental Testing

CSCS was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents.  The CSCS CSkills cards is the principal construction Health, Safety and Environmental Card used in England, Wales and Scotland.  It is also extensively used in Northern Ireland.

The CSCS Card is affiliated to CSR and Safe Pass cards.

CSCS cards are increasingly demanded as proof of occupational competence by contractors, public and private clients and others.

To apply for most CSCS cards you have to pass a health and safety test and demonstrate your competence.  To find out which is the right card for you and what you have to do to apply for it, contact a member of staff at Global Horizon Skills for advice.

Testing is offered at our Omagh site. The computer based tests can be completed quickly with flexible test times available – including evening and weekend slots.  Foreign Language voice overs are available and assistance can be provided to candidates who have learning difficulties.

From July 2014, CSCS Green Cards are for labourers only. In order to apply for the green card,  candidates are required to complete Level1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment. This training and online test can also be completed at our Omagh testing site and is a pre-requisite to completing the CSCS Health, Safety and Environment Test.
